Game Boxart Quarrel is a quirky word conquest game made from the fun-loving guys at Denki, the makers of "Juggle!" and "Denki Blocks!". Quarrel has been out on the iPhone for a while now, but the game was originally developed for XBLA, and it's proving just as f

Game Boxart Rift: Planes of Telara is Trion's entry into the already rather crowded world of Fantasy MMORPGs, and quite an entry it is. Rift advertises itself by saying "We're not in Azeroth any more", however it would be hard to believe that statement if you w

GamesCom - Dawn of War II Retribution
Written by: Etali
Date: 2010-08-31
Dawn of War II: Retribution was being shown at GamesCom. The thing that THQ were showing off the most was the Orcs, which are one of the playable races in this edition of the game.

Dawn of War II: Retribution is set ten years after Chaos Rising, and will be instantly familiar to anyone who has played the other Dawn of War II Games. THQ have made a number of refinements, however. The characters are much more customiseable in this version, and you can get an up-close and personal view of the characters in our army, giving you the chance to enjoy the detail of the units even more than in previous versions.

The new Army Builder allows you to make units on the field via a War Banner, which allows for a much more dynamic feel in battles.

At the end of each mission you acrue rewards which can be used to improve your armies.

The demo was fairly short, but from what we saw, Dawn of War II: Retribution looks to be a promising addition to the Dawn of War family. If you're a fan of the series, it will be well worth checking out.
