Discover Lineage 2 and Guild Wars

Lineage 2 and Guild Wars are two very popular MMO games. If you've never tried them before, or have tried them, but did not get very far, then you may find the two new sites created by NCSoft to be helpeful.
DiscoverLineage2.com and DiscoverGuildWars.com were created to help new players find their way around the games.
The sites explain a little about the lore and history that surrounds each game, before taking you through the different classes, areas, and quests, and, in the case of Lineage 2, the seige warfare that is so important to the game.
Once upon a time, such information would have been presented in the paper manual that you would have been given with the boxed copy of the game - and in fact, the boxed copies do have very nice manuals, but for people who prefer to have everything in front of them on the computer, or who went for a digital download, this interactive online book is an attractive and very useful option.
If you're an experienced MMO player, but new to Lineage 2 or Guild Wars, these are still worth a look. Guild Wars is very friendly for new players, and Lineage 2 has certainly gotten more newbie friendly of late, but both games have been out a while, and the expansions can make things confusing for new players - especially in Guild Wars. These guides will help you see what your options are in terms of where to go, and what to do, at each stage in the game.
