R A Salvatore at Roundtable

Just posting this press release that went out today for the benefit of Camelot fans that don't read the Camelot Herald. Oh, and if you don't read it, why not? Even if you play on GOA servers you should check out the grab bags!
Electronic Arts today announced that best-selling fantasy author R.A. Salvatore will keynote the Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable Fan Gathering this September. Salvatore’s books have sold more than fifteen million copies and include the beloved series The Hunter’s Blades Trilogy, Icewind Dale Trilogy, and The Dark Elf Trilogy. The Roundtable Fan Gathering will take place at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 29th and 30th.
R.A. Salvatore is one of the fantasy genre’s most beloved and successful authors, and has attracted a tremendously loyal following through iconic characters such as the dark elf Drizzt Do’Urden. Salvatore’s most recent original hardcover, The Promise of the Witch-King, Book II of The Spellsword Series, debuted on The New York Times best-seller list. At the Roundtable, Salvatore will speak about how he got started writing, his experiences with computer gaming and projects he is currently working on.

The Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable Fan Gathering offers fans the chance to meet developers and fellow players, and participate in Camelot-themed activities. Attendees will be able to preview the recently announced expansion, Labyrinth of the Minotaur, and win prizes from sponsors including NVIDIA, Creative Labs, Razer USA Ltd., Crucial Technology and more.
Players who register before August 25th, 2006 will receive a beta account for Labyrinth of the Minotaur, a free copy of the expansion and an exclusive in-game item. August 25th is also the last day to register for the reduced hotel group rate at the Rio.
